Responsibilities

Spencer’s is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Assistant, Marketing to support the execution of marketing programs across retail, social media, influencer partnerships, and content creation. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is passionate about pop culture, retail trends, social media, and the Spencer’s brand voice. The Assistant, Spencer's Marketing, will help bring campaigns to life across stores, digital platforms, influencer programs, and social channels. This person will assist with day-to-day marketing coordination, content development, influencer outreach, campaign tracking, and cross-functional communication with internal teams and external partners.

  • Assist with the planning and execution of retail marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal brand initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing projects by managing timelines, assets, approvals, and cross-functional communication
  • Assist with influencer marketing, including creator research, outreach, product seeding, campaign execution, and reporting
  • Support social media content planning, trend monitoring, community engagement, and short-form content creation across key platforms
  • Collaborate with Creative, Merchandising, Ecommerce, Visual, and Store Operations to execute cohesive marketing initiatives
  • Track campaign performance, compile recaps and insights, and maintain organized marketing documentation and assets

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, influencer marketing, retail, brand marketing, or a related coordinator role
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging digital trends
  • Passion for retail, pop culture, entertainment, humor, fashion, novelty products, and youth culture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and details at once
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Basic knowledge of content creation, short-form video, social trends, and creator culture
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, CapCut, Sprout, Dash Hudson, Later, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to jump in wherever needed

The pay range reflects the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Pay Range

$50,000 - $60,000
